My Mate Surf was started by local Bali surfers who got tired of seeing tourists handed a board and left to figure it out alone. We keep our sessions small, our coaching hands-on, and our vibe relaxed — because the fastest way to learn is with someone who treats you like a mate, not a customer. Whether you’ve never touched a board or you’re chasing your first proper turn, we’ll be right there in the water with you.

2 Hours · Perfect for first-timers
First 30 minutes on the beach for safety, ocean awareness and technique. The remaining 1 hour 30 minutes is spent surfing in the water with your coach.
